Round Three Results Get Acrobat Reader

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Purdue men's golf team slipped to ninth place after the third round at the Big Ten Championships at Michigan State's Forest Akers West Golf Course in East Lansing, Mich. The Boilermakers shot 311 on Saturday for a three-round total of 909 (303-295-311).

Host Michigan State has the lead with a team total of 872 with one round to play. Illinois is in second with a score of 883 and Minnesota is third at 884.

Michigan State's Ryan Brehm has taken the individual lead after firing a 69 in the third round for a total of 210. Indiana's Jorge Campillo is just one stroke behind with a 211 (69-71-71) and he leads Illinois' Scott Langley who is in third with a 212 after firing a 71 on Saturday.

Purdue is led by freshman David Gersztein who fired a third-round 79 and is in 10th with a two-day total of 222 (70-73-79). Junior Michael Randle carded a 76, the low round of the day for the Boilermakers, and is tied for 32nd at 230 (81-73-76), Junior Tom Oliver is one stroke behind Randle with a 231 and is tied for 35th after recording a 79 on Saturday.

Freshman Erich Johnston is tied for 40th with a three-round total of 232. He carded a 77 in the third round. Freshman Nakarintra Ratanakul recorded an 84 and is tied for 46th with a total of 235.
