WILMINGTON, N.C. - The Boilermakers remain in second place in the Landfall Tradition Collegiate Golf Invitational in Wilmington, N.C., still trailing Tulsa after the second round of play. The team shot a second round 305 (+17) and have a two day total of 601.
Senior Peter Richardson leads the Boilermakers after recording a second round 77. His two-day score of 149 has him tied for seventh. Not far behind is Pariya Junhasavasdikul who moved up four places to a tie for ninth by carding a 75 again today.
Michael Randle, a redshirt sophomore, is tied for 15th after shooting an 80 in the second round.
Senior Bobby Bennett gained the most ground moving up 16 spots into a tie for 20th. He had the low round for the Boilermakers, scoring a 74, just two over par. Freshman Vince Nadueau posted a second round 79 to finish the day tied for 27th.
The men's golf team concludes play tomorrow at the Country Club of Landfall's Jack Nicklaus Course, in the event hosted by UNC Wilmington.
