NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Purdue women's golf team is tied for ninth place after the second round of the Mason Rudolph Championship in Nashville, Tenn.

The Boilermakers dropped two spots after firing a second-round 294. Their total of 592 is 25 strokes behind top-ranked Duke. The Blue Devils lead No. 3 Georgia by seven strokes for the tournament lead. Purdue is only five strokes behind Oklahoma State and Wake Forest for fifth place.

Sophomore Maria Hernandez followed up her first-round 70 with a four-over 74. She is tied for 10th place with a total of 144.

Sophomore Christel Boeljon shook off her six-over 78 on Friday with a two-under 70 on Saturday. She is tied for 30th overall.

Senior Myrte Eikenaar is tied for 40th place. She carded rounds of 76 and 74 for her total of 150.

Junior Whitney Frykman and Stephanie Oukeo are tied for 55th and 50th overall. Frykman posted a 78 on Saturday, while Oukeo fired another 76.

The Mason Rudolph Championship is being held at the Vanderbilt Legends Club. The Ironhorse Course, is a 6,347-yard, par-72 layout.
