KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) - Erin Lawless scored 16 points to lead six Purdue players in double figures and the No. 22 Boilermakers beat Western Michigan 98-65 on Thursday night.
Cherelle George scored 14 and had a game-high five steals for Purdue (4-1), which plays at No. 14 DePaul on Saturday.
The Boilermakers made their first nine shots and weren't threatened after that. The 98 points were a season-high. Purdue has scored 193 points in its last two games and won them by an average of 35 points.
Lindsay Wisdom-Hylton, Katie Gearlds and Danielle Campbell each scored 12 points for Purdue. Natasha Bogdanova added 10.
Lindsey Brown led Western Michigan (0-4) with 16 points.
Purdue converted 71 percent (22-of-31) of its shots in the first half, and 10 of its 11 players scored. The Boilermakers wound up shooting a season-high 62.3 percent.
George came off the bench to score 10 in the opening half.
Purdue dominated from the start, outrebounding Western Michigan 33-25 and forcing 24 turnovers. The Boilermakers led 56-26 at halftime and pushed the lead to 38 points in the second half.
