SUNRIVER, Ore. - The Purdue women's golf team is in 19th place afer the first three rounds of the 2005 NCAA Women's Golf Championships in Sunriver, Ore.

The Boilermakers were in 23rd place after the first round and in 17th after Wednesday's round.

They fired a 304 on Thursday and have a total of 915.

Duke leads the event after a three-round total of 278. Purdue is 14 strokes out of the top 10.

On Thursday, junior Onnarin Sattayabanphot fired a one-over 72. She carded four birdies and five bogeys in her round. She is tied for 61st overall.

Sophomores Myrte Eikenaar and Caroline Haase both carded a pair of 77s. Eikenaar is tied for 102nd and Haase is tied for 67th place.

Big Ten Freshman of the Year Whitney Frykman struggles a bit on Thursday and carded a 78. She is tied for 43rd overall.

Redshirt-freshman Kara Eschbach is tied for 119th after a third-round 78.

The championships are being held on the Meadows Golf Course at the Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, Ore. Oregon State is serving as the tournament's host.

The course is a par 71 and playing at 6,312 yards.

Purdue is one of six schools to advance to the last six NCAA Championships.

The Boilermakers tee off in the final round on Friday morning.
