WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue men's tennis team fell 6-1 to Michigan in Ann Arbor on Saturday.

The 65th-ranked Wolverines took advantage of the 75th-ranked Boilermakers from the start, winning all three doubles matches to claim the first team point.

Michigan kept rolling in singles. The Wolverines won the first two matches to come off the court before Purdue senior David Robinson put the Boilermakers on the board with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over David Anving at No. 4. But a win by 119th-ranked Matko Maravic over 77th-ranked junior Paul Rose at No. 1 sealed the decision for the Maize and Blue.

Michigan improved to 12-7 overall and 5-1 in the Big Ten with the victory, while Purdue dropped to 3-11 overall and 0-5 in the league.
