The Purdue women's golf team finished fourth in the 2005 Lady Boilermaker Invitational on Sunday.

Purdue fired a final-round 305. Michigan vaulted from fifth place to tie TCU as co-champions of the event. The Boilermakers totaled 907 over the two days. Michigan and TCU recorded 898 over the three rounds. Northwestern finished third with a total of 900.

Kansas' Amanda Costner was the low individual of the event. She totaled 217 after a final-round 73. She carded a first-round 73 and a 71 in the afternoon on Saturday.

Three Boilermakers finished in the top 15 overall, including two individuals in the top five. TCU was the only other school to have two individuals in the top five.

Junior Onnarin Sattayabanphot finished fourth overall. She carded a 75 in the final round, matching her second-round score from Saturday. She fired a 71in the first round. She totaled 221 over the two days.

Sophomore Myrte Eikenaar tied for fifth overall. She carded a final-round 76 and totaled 222 on the weekend. Her low round was a 71 on Saturday afternoon.

Freshman Whitney Frykman tied for 15th overall. She carded a 78 on Sunday and totaled 228. Sophomore Caroline Haase tied for 41st overall. She carded a 76 on Sunday, her best of the tournament. She totaled a 236.

Freshman Danielle Wolter finished 69th after a final-round 80, her best of the weekend. Redshirt-freshman Kara Eschbach fired a final-round 86 and finished 72nd.

The event was hosted by Purdue and held at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex's Kampen Course. The course is a par 72, 6,025-yard layout.

The Boilermakers are in action again from April 16 to 17 at the Lady Buckeye Invitational.
