The Purdue women's golf team is in eighth place at the 2005 Lady Gator Invitational in Gainesville, Fla.
The Boilermakers fired a second-round 310 and have a total of 617 over the first two rounds. Wake Forest leads the event with a 591 and Auburn is in second place with a total of 597 over the first two rounds.
Sophomore Myrte Eikenaar is tied for first place with Wake Forest's Christine Hallstrom. Eikenaar fired a 73 in the first round and a 72 on Saturday.
Junior Onnarin Sattayabanphot carded an 80 in the second round and it tied for 28th overall.
Freshman Whitney Frykman is tied for 61st after a 79 in the second round. Sophomore Caroline Haase is tied for 67th and redshirt freshman Kara Eschbach fired a 79 and is in 79th place.
The event is being hosted by the University of Florida.
The final round takes place Sunday morning, March 6.
