The Purdue men's golf team finished 10th at the 2005 Gator Invitational in Gainesville, Fla.
The event is the first of the spring season for the Boilermakers, who recorded four top-three finishes in the fall season.
The Boilermakers carded a 285 on Sunday and totaled an 882 over the two days. Florida won the event after carding an 858.
Sophomore Peter Richardson tied for ninth after a 72 on Sunday. He totaled a 214 overall.
Senior Dustin Cone tied for 21st after final round of 70. He totaled a 219. Sophomore Pariya Junhasavasdikul carded a 74 and tied for 38th overall.
Freshman Santiago Russi tied for 43rd in his first collegiate tournament. He fired a 70 on Sunday. Sophomore Bobby Bennett tied for 76th after a total of 243.
The event was hosted by the University of Florida and held at the University of Florida Golf Course. The course is a par 70, 6,701-yard layout.
