WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue men's tennis team finished its fall season Sunday at the Big Ten Singles Championships in Madison, Wis.

Fifth-seeded and 56th-ranked junior Paul Rose won his match in the round of 16, beating Adam Schaecterle of Northwestern 6-1, 6-4. Rose fell in the quarterfinals, however, dropping a 6-4, 4-6, 6-1 decision to Avery Ticer of Minnesota.

In consolation, senior Sounak Chatterjee lost 6-4, 6-1 to Andres Osorio of Minnesota, while classmate Filip Koziell lost 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 to Alex Kasarov of the host Wisconsin Badgers.

The Boilermakers will have a two-month break before returning to the court for the spring dual-match season Jan. 30 against Butler.
