The Purdue men's golf team keeps rolling along during its 2004 fall season. The Boilermakers are tied for second place after two rounds at the Landfall Tradition.
The Boilermakers fired a second-round 286 and are tied with Duke with a 568 after two rounds. Michigan State leads the event with a 566. Tulsa and Ohio State round out the top five.
Purdue sophomore Peter Richardson is tied for fifth overall after rounds of 69 and 71. Senior Dustin Cone is tied for 11th after a total of 141.
Sophomore Pariya Junhasavasdikul is tied for 14th after back-to-back rounds of 71. Sophomore Bobby Bennett carded a 74 on Saturday and is tied for 24th overall.
Sophomore Brandon Lawson is tied for 46th after a total of 152 over the first two rounds.
The event is being hosted by UNC-Wilmington and held at the Country Club of the Landfall, designed by Jack Nicklaus. The course is a par 72, 6,948-yard layout.
The final round begins Sunday at 7:30 a.m. EST.
