The Purdue men's golf team finished sixth in the Palmetto Intercollegiate in Aiken, S.C. The event was hosted by the University of South Carolina-Aiken.
The Boilermakers fired a 293 in the final round. They posted a 296 in the first round and a 283 in the second round. The Boilermakers totaled 872 over the three rounds. South Carolina won the event with a 54-hole total of 847.
Senior Shiv Kapur tied for 12th place overall after a three-round total of 214. Freshmen Pariya Junhasavasdikul and Peter Richardson both tied for 15th. Richardson fired a 68 on Tuesday.
Senior Luke Epp tied for 49th after three-round 228. Junior Dustin Cone tied for 60th after a final-round 80.
The tournament was played on the 6,380-yard, par-71, Palmetto Golf Club.
