The Purdue women's golf team is in 11th place after the second round of the 2004 Lady Gator Invitational in Gainesville, Fla.
The Boilermakers fired a second round 314, six strokes lower than their round on Sunday. Purdue has a two-round total of 634. It trails Tennessee by 14 strokes for a spot in the top five. Duke leads the field after a two-round 588.
The event is being hosted by Florida University and held on the par-70, 5,927-yard University of Florida Golf Course.
The Boilermakers were led by newcomer Myrte Eikennar , who fired a team-low 75 on Monday. She is tied with sophomore Onnarin Sattayanbanphot, who fired a second-round 78. The pair is tied for 20th overall with a 156 after two rounds.
Senior Beth Hermes is tied for 43rd after a 77 on Monday. Senior Ella Asbun carded an 84 and is tied for 62nd.
Freshman Caroline Haase is tied for 76th after a two-round 168.
