KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Purdue women's golf is in 14th place after the second round of the 2003 Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Challenge in Knoxville, Tenn.
The Boilermakers fired a second round 308. Ohio State leads the event overall after a two-round 588.
The event is being hosted by Tennessee University and held on the par-72, 6,201-yard Fox Den Country Club. The Boilermakers won the event in 2002. It's their fifth time playing in the tournament.
The Boilermakers were led sophomore Onnarin Sattayabanphot, who fired second-round 70. She is in second place overall after a two-round 143.
Senior Ella Asbun is tied for 30th overall after a two-round 152. Senior Beth Hermes fired a 74 on Monday. She is tied for 63rd overall.
Freshman Caroline Haase carded an 85 on Monday and is in 83rd place overall.

The Boilermakers are in action again on Nov. 2 to 4, at the Hooter Match Play Tournament in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
