COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Purdue women's golf team finished 10th at the 2003 Lady Northern Intercollegiate in Columbus, Ohio.
Texas won the event with a three-round 893. Ohio State and Michigan State placed second and third respectively.
The event was hosted by Ohio State University and held on the par-72, 6,037-yard Scarlet Course, site of the 2004 Women's Big Ten Championships.
The Boilermakers were led by sophomore Onnarin Sattayabanphot, who tied for 16th place after a total of 228. Sattayabanphot's tournament was highlighted by a second-round 71, which was the second-lowest round of the tournament.
Senior Beth Hermes tied for 23rd overall after a three-round 233. Hermes' low round was a 73 in the first round on Saturday.
Freshman Caroline Haase tied for 51st after a three-round 241. She fired a final-round 80. Sophomore Becky Nelson tied for 70th with a three-round total of 248.
Sophomore Emily Hindman tied for 75th and senior Ella Asbun tied for 81st.
The Boilermakers are in action again on Oct. 13 and 14, at the East Carolina Invitational in Greenville, N.C.
