2003 Big Ten Women's Golf Championships Stats in PDF Format

IOWA CITY, Iowa - The No. 21 Purdue women's golf team rallied from 10th place after three rounds to finish fourth at the 2003 Big Ten Women's Golf Championships, which were held at the at the par 73, 6,053-yard Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City, Iowa.
The Boilermakers carded a final-round 298, second lowest on the day. Purdue totaled a 1232 over the three days.
Ohio State was crowned champion after an 1194. The Buckeyes shot a 294 on Sunday. Wisconsin placed second and Northwestern took third.
Purdue was led by junior Beth Hermes, who finished 17th. She fired a 77 on Sunday and finished with a 306.
Senior Kari Damron fired a 75 on Sunday and finished tied for 18th overall. She totaled a 307.
Senior Heather Suhr and freshman Onnarin Sattayabanphot each tied for 28th overall. Suhr fired a 78 on Sunday and Sattayabanphot carded a 77.
Senior Heather Zielinski finished in 33rd place after a team-low, final-round 69. Freshman Emily Hindman tied for 65th place.
The Boilermakers await to see if they advance to the NCAA Regional Championships, which feed into the 2003 NCAA Women's Golf Championships. The championships will be held on the Kampen Course of the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex from May 20 to 23.
