WALNUT, Calif. - Three members of the Purdue track and field team participated in the final day of competition at the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif., on Saturday.
The women's 400-meter relay team of junior Shanna Carter, sophomore Gina Harvey, freshman LaShauna Harris and junior Krissy Liphardt placed ninth after a time of 47.12.
Liphardt then competed in the women's 400-meter hurdles. She placed second in her section and 12th overall with a time of 59.71.
Hence "Pooh" Williams participated in the men's pole vault competition, but did not record a height.

Several other Boilermakers competed in the Butler Invitational on Saturday afternoon and evening, under the lights in Indianapolis.
