STILLWATER, Okla. - The Purdue men's golf team finished in 15th place at the NCAA Fall Preview on Tuesday. The event was held at the par 72, 7,290-yard Karsten Creek golf course in Stillwater, Okla.
The Boilermakers fired a final-round 323 and finished with a 941. Augusta State won the event with a 15-over 879.
Senior Chris Mayson led the Boilermakers with a final-round 76. Mayson tied for 45th with a three-round total of 231.
Sophomore Dustin Cone and senior Peter Karmis tied for 56th. Cone fired a final-round 82 and Karmis shot an 84 on Tuesday.
Sophomore Roberto Krutzfeldt tied for 67th after a three-round total of 243. Junior Ryan Barauskas carded a 246 and tied for 70th.
The Boilermakers compete four times in the fall and are in action again on Nov. 1 to 3, at the Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, N.C.
