Boilermaker 4x100m Relay Team Wins Penn Relays

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue men's 4x100m relay team stunned its competitors at the Penn Relays as it ran a 40.30 to win the college/university section of the event. Boilermakers Prentice Stovall, Jamar Green, Kenneth Baxter and Jacques Reeves defeated the likes of Miami, South Carolina, Florida and Texas, some of the nation's quickest relay squads.

Keith McBride set a new personal record in the university division of the hammer throw. He threw 184-9.00 for a fifth-place finish. J.P. Smolenski threw 176-4.00 to place 10th. Ryan Fitzpatric cleared the high jump bar at 7-0.25 to finish sixth in the championship division.
