TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Purdue men's golf team finished in 10th place in the Conrad Rehling Invitational in Tuscaloosa, Ala. The event was hosted by the University of Alabama and held at the Capstone Club.
The Boilermakers fired a final-round 282 and finished with a three-day total of 874. Minnesota won the event with an 847.
Senior Lee Williamson carded a two-over 69 in the final round and tied for fifth with a three-day total of 210. Williamson (-3) was one of 10 golfers under par.
Junior Chris Mayson fired a 68 on Sunday and tied for 35th overall with a three-day total of 220. Sophomore Shiv Kapur carded final-round 74 and tied for 46th with an 11-over 224. Freshman Dustin Cone tied for 54th with a 226 after a final-round 71. Junior Peter Karmis tied for 64th overall after a three-day total of 229.
The Boilermakers are in action again on April 12-14 in the Kepler-Cleveland Intercollegiate hosted by Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio.
