WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - No. 15 Purdue defeated intra-state rival Indiana, 18-17, at Harrison High School in Evansville. The Boilermakers are now 12-3 overall and 2-2 in the Big Ten.
No. 3 Chris Fleeger defeated Greg Schaefer of Indiana 9-2, and is now 22-1 on the season. No. 5 Jake Vercelli defeated Indiana's DJ Radnovich 5-1, rebounding from his first loss of the season last Saturday.
No. 7 Ryan Lange defeated Indiana's Andrew Wolf 3-2.
Purdue returns to action Sunday, Feb. 10, when they face No. 1 Minnesota at 2 p.m. at Portage (Ind.) High School.
