PALOS VERDES, Calif. -- The Purdue women's golf team fired a final-round 311 and finished in 15th place in the TRW Regional Challenge in Palos Verdes, Calif.
The Boilermakers ended Wednesday's round with a three-day total of 928.
Purdue was led by junior Heather Zielinski who fired a final-round 75 and finished tied for 23rd with a three-day total of 227. Senior Caroline Laurens and sophomore Beth Hermes carded a pair of 235's and finished tied for 53rd. Senior Kari Damron finished in 66th place after a 239. Senior Andrea Makauskas fired a 240 to tie for 74th place.
The Boilermakers are in action again on Feb. 25-26 at the Central District Invitational in Parrish, Fla.
