Jeremy Bibelhauser, Dan Jankowski and Ryan Lange won each of their matches during the day's competition.

"I am very pleased with our team effort," said head coach Jessie Reyes. "We wrestled a great meet. Our young guys performed well and gained valuable experience. Our veterans went out and dominated in a very business-like way."

The tournament also included exhibition matches and a meet in which Carson-Newman defeated SIU-Edwardsville, 26-19.

Carson-Newman's Tony Morgan was named the tournament's most outstanding wrestler. The junior won all three of his matches of the afternoon at 165.

Purdue resumes action on Fri., Jan. 4 at Fresno, Calif., when they take on Fresno State and UC-Davis.
