WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue volleyball team was defeated 30-23, 30-26, 30-22 by Illinois on Friday. The Boilermakers slip to 2-14 (1-8 Big Ten), while the Fighting Illini improved to 13-5 (6-4 Big Ten).
"Our goals remain the same and improvement is the key for us," head coach Jeff Hulsmeyer said. "We need to keep focused on the things we need to and improvement is inevitable. We have the talent, we just need to build on our opportunities."
