AUBURN, Wash. - The Purdue women's golf team moved up to 19th place in the second round of the NCAA Preview on Tuesday. The second round of the tournament was suspended due to rain. Nine teams will complete their second rounds on Wednesday morning. The final round will begin at 1:00 p.m. EST.
The Boilermakers, who were in 21st place after the first round, fired a 300 on the day improving their score by 18 strokes from Monday. Junior Kari Damron shot a 71 to move into a tie for 25th place. Sophomore Beth Hermes carded a 73. Senior Caroline Laurens and junior Heather Zielinski each had a 78. Freshman Lissa Putnam fired a 79.
