The Purdue women's golf team continued play at the NCAA Championships at Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., and is tied for 17th place after two rounds with a score of 614. The Boilermakers shot a 309 for round two.
Leading the way in round two was Heather Zielinski and Kari Damron, who both shot a 76 for the day. Zielinski is currently tied for 40th with a score of 151. Damron is one stroke back, tied for 50th at 152. Andrea Makauskas shot a 78 for the day, and is tied for 87th with a score of 158. Caroline Laurens and Beth Hermes each shot a 79. Laurens is tied for 70th with a score of 155. Hermes is tied for 80th with a two-round total of 157. Damron birdied on two holes, both on the back nine. Laurens and Makauskas each had one birdie, while Hermes and Zielinski birdied twice.
