The Purdue baseball team concluded its weekend at the Wiregrass Baseball Classic in Dothan, Ala., falling 19-2 to Vanderbilt.

Chadd Blasko (1-1) takes the loss for the Boilermakers, surrendering four earned runs in three innings of work. John Gusich led the team with two hits, while Kris Luce and Simon Klink each had one RBI. Nick McIntyre extended his hitting streak to eight games, collecting a hit in every game this season.

The Boilermakers travel to Cincinnati this weekend for a two-game series with the Bearcats at Johnny Bench Field before heading on their spring break trip to California.
