SAN JOSE, Calif. - The Purdue softball team finished its first day of play at the N.I.S.T. with a 5-0 loss to Arizona State. The Boilermakers finished the day with a 1-2 record, putting them at 13-4-1 on the season and giving them the No. 2 seed of their pool.
Purdue will face the Oregon Ducks at noon, PST, on Saturday, March 10. Following a win of that game, the Boilermakers would face the winner of the California/Long Beach State game. If they should lose, the Old Gold and Black would face the loser of the same game.
