WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) - The blowout streak continues for Purdue.

Rodney Smith scored 19 points on perfect shooting, and Carson Cunningham had a career-high 13 assists, as Purdue beat Florida International 93-48 on Friday night.

The Boilermakers (7-2) extended their winning to streak six. They have been dominating in those wins - with an average margin of victory of 31 points. They have scored more than 90 points in each of the last two games. The victory also gave Purdue 53 wins in its last 56 non-conference games at Mackey Arena.

Smith had the top performance in a game where no Boilermaker missed more than five shots. He was 9-of-9 from the floor, as the Boilermakers shot 64 percent overall.

They made 24 of their first 33 shots.

Florida International (2-8) was overmatched from the outset. The Golden Panthers held a short-lived 5-2 lead, then watched Purdue take off.

Maynard Lewis' 3-pointer gave the Boilermakers a 7-5 lead, and they were on cruise control from there, going on a 33-9 run, highlighted by 12 points from John Allison - the only ones he'd score.

Purdue outrebounded Florida International 39-23 and had 25 assists to the Golden Panther's seven.

Carlos Arroyo had 26 points for the Golden Panthers, who shot only 27 percent from the floor.
