Men's Swimming and Diving Fall to Indiana

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue men's swimming and diving team fell to Indiana 147-94 in Bloomington on Saturday. The Boilermakers (5-4, 3-4 Big Ten) won four events in their final dual meet of the season.

Matt Martin was a double winner for Purdue, taking victories in the 1,000 and 500 freestyle. His time of 4:33.03 in the 500 was a season best time. Dan Kleber won the 200 Butterfly in a time of 1:51.02, over a second faster than the runner up, Kevin Evans of Indiana. The Boilermakers Javier Diaz and Tad Sayce finished one-two in the 200 IM. Diaz's time of 1:50.74 was a season best time he also finished third in the 100 free.

The Boilermakers will have three weeks to prepare for the Big Ten Championships Feb. 24-26 in Ann Arbor, Mich.
