DENTON, Texas (AP) - Kelly Komara scored 21 points as No. 19 Purdue beat North Texas 79-68 on Saturday.
The sophomore guard was 8-for-9 from the field, including a 4-of-4 performance from 3-point range.
Camille Cooper had 20 points, nine rebounds and five blocked shots for Purdue (7-1), and Katie Douglas added 17 points and seven assists.
Jalie Mitchell led North Texas (6-1) with 19 points. Rosalyn Reades had 10 rebounds for the Lady Eagles 6-1.
Purdue hit its first seven shots and led 31-16 with 6:34 left in the first half. North Texas closed the half with a 15-4 run to cut it to 35-31.
Purdue slowly pulled away to open the second half, then put the game away with a 23-8 run midway through the half.
