WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) - Brian Cardinal led a balanced attack with 16 points as Purdue beat Athletes in Action 105-90 in an exhibition game Wednesday night.
Cardinal also contributed nine rebounds and seven assists for the Boilermakers, who got 15 points apiece from Jaraan Cornell, Maynard Lewis and John Allison. Rodney Smith added 11.
The Boilermakers led 7-0 and pushed the margin to 50-25 at halftime.
Scott Stewart led the visitors' second-half rally with 25 points, including four 3-pointers.
