Former Boilermaker Honored into Hall of Fame

Former Boilermaker Honored into Hall of Fame McGinley inducted into Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame.
Former Purdue men's basketball player and current member of the University's of Trustees Tim McGinley has been elected to the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame. McGinley is one of 14 inductees, one of which is the legendary Larry Bird.

McGinley played at Purdue from 1960-63 after a standout career at Indianapolis Scecina High School. In his three-year Boiler playing career (freshmen were ineligible then), McGinley, a guard, helped Purdue to a record of 34-26 under coach Ray Eddy.

The incoming class will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in New Castle in March.
