EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Purdue scored three times in an 11-minute span across the end of the first half and beginning of the second to defeat Southern Indiana, 3–0, Sunday afternoon at Strassweg Field.
After nearly 36 minutes of scoreless play, Purdue broke through in the 37th minute. Tanna Schornstein finished on a cross from Addison Feldman and Kate Noel for her second goal of the season, giving the Boilermakers a 1–0 lead.
Purdue doubled its advantage just before halftime when Montgomery Draham scored in the 45th minute. Feldman picked up her second assist of the afternoon, while McKenzie Carle also assisted on Draham's second goal of the season.
The Boilers wasted no time adding to their lead after halftime. Just 1:02 into the second half, Carle found the back of the net for her third goal of the season, giving Purdue a three-goal cushion.
Rosa Maalouf led the Boilers with five shots, including three on target, while Jaiden Anderson added five shots and Schornstein finished with two shots and a goal.
Defensively, Purdue posted its third consecutive shutout, with Krystina Wolf making four saves across 90 minutes to earn her fifth win of the season.
