WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue Track & Field travels to Chicago where the whole team will participate at the Windy City Invite (Feb. 6-7).

Men’s Notes
Seamus Malaski sits13th in the country in the shot put (19.10m / 62-08.00) and is seventh in the Big Ten in the weight throw (20.82m / 68-03.25). He is coming off back-to-back victories in the shot put.
Bode Gilkerson is tied for the Big Ten lead and is 14th in the country in the high jump (2.18m / 7-01.75).
Samuel Vessat (46.88) and Zyan Greene (47.05) both entered Purdue’s top five in the 400m after their first race in the event as a Boilermaker. Converted to 46.99 and 47.16 for conference and national ranking purposes due to altitude, the duo ranks eighth and 10th in the Big Ten, respectively.
• The 4x400m team of Jax Coleman, Greene, Zach Mylenek and Vessat sits third in the Big Ten and 16th nationally with a converted 3:07.82 due to altitude.
Douglas Buckeridge will compete in his first 3000m of the season. He holds the No. 5 spot in Purdue history (8:04.85) set on Jan. 24, 2025.

Women’s Notes
Alexia Smith holds the No. 15 spot nationally and ranks second in the Big Ten in the 400m after a converted 52.63 due to altitude. The 52.52 original time elevated Smith to third in Purdue history.
Zoe Sullivan ranks fifth in the Big Ten and 23rd nationally in the 60mH (8.19). The current cutoff to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships is 8.13.
Britannie Johnson is eighth in the Big Ten in the weight throw (20.75m / 68-01.00) and has a personal best throw in each of her first three competitions this season. The mark sits fifth in Purdue history, one spot ahead of her twin sister, Britannia Johnson, who is projected to make her season debut this weekend.
Ashley Odiase is set for her second 200m as a Boilermaker after she produced the No. 10 time in Purdue history (23.95) in her debut.
