THE SCENE SETTER
• Purdue wraps up its West Coast swing on Tuesday night when it visits Pauley Pavilion for the first time in 26 years, facing UCLA on Tuesday night in Los Angeles. The Boilermakers are looking for a West Coast sweep after toppling USC 69-64 on Saturday. The contest will be the third in a five-game stretch against Quad-1 opponents (Iowa, USC, UCLA, Illinois, Indiana).
• The Boilermakers will return home on Saturday to face No. 11 Illinois in Mackey Arena as part of their Hammer Down Cancer Game.

THE MATCHUP
• Purdue and UCLA will meet for the 15th time in series history, with the Bruins owning a 10-4 series advantage.
• It will mark Purdue's first appearance in Pauley Pavilion in over 25 years, the last contest being Dec. 30, 1999 -- a 55-53 UCLA victory.
• UCLA's 71.4 winning percentage against Purdue is the second-highest win percentage against the Boilermakers with a minimum of 10 meetings, just behind North Carolina (.727).
• Purdue defeated UCLA a year ago in Mackey Arena, the Boilermakers' first win against UCLA since the 1959-60 season.
Trey Kaufman-Renn scored 29 points and Braden Smith had 23 points, eight assists and four steals in last year's victory.
• UCLA's Mick Cronin (515) and Purdue's Matt Painter (513) have the most wins for any active coaches aged 55 or younger.

NEWS AND NOTES
• Purdue is coming off a 69-64 victory over USC on Saturday, rallying from 14 points down in the first half and then outscoring the Trojans 12-4 over the final three minutes to earn the victory.
• Purdue is 7-0 in Big Ten play for the first time since the 2017-18 season (12-0) and for just the third time in the last 80 years (2025-26, 2017-18, 1989-90).

• Purdue is in the midst of a gauntlet of playing six games in an eight-game stretch away from Mackey Arena (road games vs. USC, UCLA, Indiana, Maryland, Nebraska, Iowa).
