MINNEAPOLIS – Purdue Wrestling will compete in its final regular season road dual at No. 7 Minnesota on Sunday afternoon.

The matinee dual against the Golden Gophers is slated for 1 p.m. ET inside Maturi Pavilion.

A live broadcast will be available for streaming on B1G+.

The Boilermakers (9-4, 2-3 B1G) trail Minnesota (9-1, 5-1 B1G) 43-10-2 in the all-time series, and the Gophers have won the previous two meetings.

Purdue last beat Minnesota 18-16 in West Lafayette on Feb. 6, 2022. On Senior Day, the Old Gold & Black won six of 10 matches to knock off the No. 16 Gophers in Holloway Gymnasium.

An upset Sunday would mark the Boilers' first win in Minneapolis since Feb. 1, 2004, when Purdue's most recent Big Ten champion Ryan Lange led the team over the No. 11 Gophers in their home arena. RANKED MATCHUPS PREVIEW Fifteen ranked wrestlers will be in the building for the dual, with as many as five ranked matchups possibly on the docket. Minnesota has a ranked wrestler at every weight while Purdue is represented by five.
  • 125: No. 1 Matt Ramos vs. No. 9 Cooper Flynn – Ramos remains undefeated atop the 125-pound division with a record of 22-0. He is poised for another big challenge, this time against No. 9 Flynn. A win for Ramos would be his 10th ranked win and fifth against top-12 opponents this season.
  • 141: No. 28 Greyson Clark vs. No. 8 Vance VomBaur – Entering the match fresh off a 7-2 decision in his home state of Wisconsin, Clark has a chance to earn the highest ranked victory of his career against VomBaur, who boasts an 18-3 record. Clark earned his first top-10 victory earlier this season against Northwestern's No. 10 Chris Cannon.
  • 157: No. 7 Joey Blaze vs. No. 8 Tommy Askey – Blaze didn't wrestle at Wisconsin, but he is still riding a four-match win streak, all against Big Ten Conference opponents. Askey earned an 11-2 major decision against Ohio State's Brandon Cannon on Friday night.
  • 174: No. 27 Brody Baumann vs. No. 22 Clayton Whiting – Baumann earned a clutch 12-9 sudden-victory decision against Wisconsin's Lucas Condon on Friday night. Whiting is 13-7 after dropping a 7-1 decision to OSU's No. 5 Carson Kharchla.
  • 197: No. 26 Ben Vanadia vs. No. 9 Isaiah Salazar – Vanadia improved to 14-8 after a gritty 10-8 decision over Wisconsin's Wyatt Ingham. Salazar is 14-3 after beating No. 18 Seth Shumate 4-1 in sudden-victory.
LAST TIME OUT The Boilermakers dominated Wisconsin in Madison on Friday night, winning 33-7 with eight match wins and five for bonus points.

Orlando Cruz and Hayden Filipovich earned the only pins of the night, marking Purdue's first falls since the Northwestern dual on Jan. 10.

Ramos, Isaac Ruble and Stoney Buell all earned major decisions while Clark, Baumann and Vanadia notched decision wins. PROJECTED LINEUPS Purdue
