ANN ARBOR, Mich. – A trip to Michigan for the second consecutive year is up next for the Purdue track & field team, as they are set to compete at the Simmons-Harvey Invitational on Saturday, January 20, at the U-M Indoor Track Building in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Action will begin with field events at 10 a.m. ET, and running events commence at 11 a.m. ET. The day will conclude with the 4x400 relays at 2:45 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT: STRONG START TO 2024 IN CHICAGO
Eight individual wins and five top-10 times in school history opened the new year for Purdue at the Badgers Midwest Invitational on January 13 in Chicago.
The Boilermakers totaled 21 top-three finishes at their second meet of the 2023-24 indoor season. Purdue was one of six teams to compete at the third-annual event at the Dr. Conrad Worrill Track & Field Center at Gately Park.
Freshmen Jasiah Rogers and Nia Wilson continued their strong starts to their careers with victories in the 60-meter final as they also moved up in the record books. Junior Zoe Sullivan and sophomore Taylor Herbert, making her Boilermaker debut, also ran top-10 times in the 60m hurdles and 60m, respectively. Juniors Praise Aniamaka and Brett Otterbacher added wins with marks that are among the best in the country this season.

Three short sprinters all posted victories that came with top-10 times to lead the way for the Boilermakers. Then-junior Cierra Williams (400m) added a record book-qualifying time of her own, while Otterbacher (400m) and the men's 4x400 relay all won as the Boilermakers faced three other Big Ten teams.
