SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The final indoor meet of the regular season will send the Purdue track & field team to Notre Dame for the Alex Wilson Invitational on Saturday, February 18, in South Bend, Indiana.
The Boilermakers' first event is the pole vault and weight throw at 11:30 a.m. ET, and the squad's first race on the track is the 400-meter at 12:45 p.m. The meet for Purdue concludes with the 800m at 2:20 p.m.

Sixteen Boilermakers, 12 women and four men, will represent the Old Gold and Black on Saturday. Along with Purdue and host-Notre Dame, the field includes Indiana, Iowa and Michigan State.
PURDUE IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
Two Boilermakers appear in the top-25 in the week four national TFRI top-25 rankings, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Fifth-year Johnny Vanos is ranked No. 11 in the weight throw thanks to a mark of 22.10 meters that is the second-best throw in school history. Sophomore Praise Aniamaka enters the rankings this week at No. 15 in the triple jump, as his mark of 16.05m is No. 4 all-time.
In the #EventSquad rankings, the women are No. 20 in the pole vault and the men are No. 21 nationally in the weight throw. The women check in at No. 23 in the 200m and the men are No. 24 in the 60m.
LAST TIME OUT: SECOND CITY WEEKEND
Purdue set four top-10 marks in program history at the Windy City Invitational in Chicago from February 10-11. Aniamaka won the triple jump with his mark that is No. 4 in school history. Fifth-year Camille Christopher was third in the 200m with the fifth-fastest time in the Purdue record books, while sophomore Emma Squires ran the mile in a time that is No. 9 in team history. Additionally, senior Saran Kouyeth entered the top-10 list at No. 10 in the 200m.
Thirteen personal-best marks were achieved by Boilermakers on the weekend.

TWO WEEKS AGO AT NOTRE DAME
Saturday marks the Boilermakers' second trip to Notre Dame this season, as they also competed at the Meyo Invitational from February 3-4. The weekend was highlighted by junior Cierra Williams rising to No. 5 in school history in the 400m. With a time of 53.36 to win the event, Williams moved up from No. 8 all-time. Senior Safin Wills added a win in the triple jump and a total of 10 personal-best marks were recorded at the two-day meet.
