DUAL MEET INFORMATION
Purdue at No. 16 Michigan
Friday, Nov. 4 at 3 p.m. ET / Watch B1G+
Canham Natatorium / Ann Arbor, Michigan
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue men's swimming & diving makes the first of two trips to Ann Arbor this season for the final dual meet of the fall semester, taking a full travel roster to Michigan's Canham Natatorium for the first time since the 2014 Big Ten Championships.
Action at the Wolverines' home opener is set for Friday at 3 p.m. ET. The Michigan women also host Eastern Michigan and Ohio for a triple dual Friday. The men's half of the meet will feature the default 16-event lineup, except with the 400 individual medley taking the place of the 200 IM.
The Wolverines are slated to host both the men's and women's Big Ten Championships this season, the first time the same school has hosted both meets in the same year since Iowa in 2012. The 2019-20 campaign marked the last time Purdue men had an opportunity to compete at the host site of the Big Ten Championships earlier in the season, making two trips to Bloomington in about a month's time that year.
Meanwhile, the Purdue divers earned their bids to the NCAA Championships at Canham Natatorium last season as Michigan hosted the Zone C Diving Championships. Otherwise, the Boilermakers have not made many trips north to the Great Lakes State in recent years.

• Purdue's Last Full Meet in the State of Michigan: January 2019 Dual at Michigan State
• Last Time Purdue Men's Swimmers Competed at Canham Natatorium: February 2015 for a First Chance Meet
• Last Time Purdue's Full Team Competed at Michigan: 2014 Big Ten Championships
• Purdue's Last Dual at Michigan: January 2013
…In both 2011 and 2013, selected members of the team were competing at the Classic @ SMU the same weekend
• Last Time Purdue Men had a Full Roster for a Dual at Michigan: January 2007
Purdue alumnus and three-year All-American Nikola Aćin, the program record holder in the 50 and 100 freestyle, opted to transfer to Michigan for his additional year of collegiate eligibility. The Olympian and two-time FINA World Championships qualifier for Serbia also helped set Purdue records in all five relays as a Boilermaker. As a five-time medalist at the Big Ten Championships, Aćin helped Purdue win a relay medal three years in a row for the first time since 2001 to 2003. Last year he teamed with active Boilermakers Nick Sherman, Brady Samuels and Keelan Hart to help Purdue win two relay medals in the same year at Big Tens for the first time since 1998.
The Boilermakers host the Purdue Invitational later this month (Nov. 16-18) and do not return to dual meet action until hosting Indiana on Saturday, Jan. 21. However, as was the case last year, adding a dual meet in early January remains a possibility.
