WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue Women's Basketball head coach Katie Gearlds announced her first signing class of three future Boilermakers on Wednesday. Guards Ainhoa Holzer and Addison Potts and forward Lilly Stoddard all signed National Letters of Intent to join the program in West Lafayette.
"Today is great day for Purdue Women's Basketball," Gearlds said. "Our program took a step forward by adding these three to our roster next year. Smart, fast and hardworking – these are the type of high-character student-athletes we want to become Boilermakers. They have the potential to make a significant impact, and we can't wait to get started with them on campus next fall."
ADDISON POTTS | G | 6-0 | Fort Myers, Fla.
Potts is a versatile 6-foot guard out of Fort Myers, Fla. Her offensive talent presents problems for opposing defenses with her ability to create off the dribble, catch-and-shoot and get to the basket. We are excited about her ability to score from all 3 levels, as well as her high basketball IQ. Potts has continued to develop her game since she started playing varsity basketball in seventh grade. A 2,000-point scorer during her prep career, Potts can make a significant impact on the offensive end.
