WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue track & field team travels to in-state foe Indiana for the Gladstein Invitational in Bloomington, Indiana, on Saturday, Jan. 23.
The women's competition will begin 10 a.m. ET, and the men's meet commences at 1:30 p.m. Fans can follow all the action with live results, video streams and the event schedule available on the track & field schedule page on PurdueSports.com/TrackField.
In their second meet of the season, the Boilermakers will compete against host-Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State and Northwestern.
"The team that competed last weekend was a small group, and we've added a few more people as they show readiness to compete," Purdue coach Norbert Elliott said. "We have set a really good tone for the season, and I just hope we can add on to that on Saturday. I feel really confident that the athletes we're sending, they're not in tip-top shape, but they're ready to show some good performances. I'm really excited, it's a meet that's in-state, the travel is going to be pretty easy, and I just can't wait to see what they do."
Sixteen Purdue women will compete in 10 total events, while nine men will represent Purdue in eight events. Six Boilermakers are scheduled to make their Purdue debuts on Saturday. Geno Christofanelli, William White and Caleb Williams are competing in the 3,000-meter, Jahn Riley is racing in the 60-meter dash and the 600, Cierra Williams is running in the 60, 600 and 4x400 relay and My'Khiyah Williams will compete in the high jump.
