WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Five Purdue track & field athletes have earned All-America honors, including two on the first team, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced.

Senior Tamar Greene and sophomore Marcellus Moore were named First Team All-America, and seniors Brian Faust and Alexis Zatta and junior Isaiah Martin earned Second Team All-America accolades.

Faust and Martin are recognized for the second time in their careers indoors, while Greene, Moore and Zatta earned their first indoor All-America distinction.

All five Boilermakers competed at last weekend's NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships and notched top-16 finishes in their events.

Moore finished sixth overall in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.65 seconds on March 13. It tied his personal-best mark set the previous day, which is tied for the third-fastest in program history in the event. Moore entered the meet seeded No. 15 in the event.

Greene placed seventh in the triple jump with a mark of 16.28 meters. The second-best jump in the Purdue record books, it came on his second attempt. Greene was seeded 10th nationally.

Martin was 10th in the heptathlon with 5,501 points and collected All-America honors in the event for the second consecutive year. Seeded No. 12, Martin was second among four Big Ten competitors. The Purdue record-holder in the event, he eclipsed the 5,500-point mark for the third time in his career and remains the only Boilermaker in program history to reach that mark.

Faust competed in the 400, where he was 12th overall in 46.56. An All-American in the 400 indoors in 2020, Faust is the school record in the event and was seeded No. 13.

Zatta collected All-America accolades in the high jump, where she was 15th and cleared 1.76 meters. She was the No. 15 seed entering the national championships.
