Purdue is 15-6-1 all-time against Northwestern following a scoreless draw in 2019. The Boilermakers boast an 8-2 record in the series in West Lafayette. Just two of the last seven meetings have been played at Folk Field, with the last a 2-0 Purdue victory in 2017.

Northwestern comes to West Lafayette with a 3-2 record. NU plays its first match of the 2020-21 campaign outdoors and has not won or lost multiple games in a row through its first five matches. The Wildcats scored a pair of second-half goals to down Iowa on March 8 while holding a 13-6 advantage in shots and an 8-4 edge in shots on goal.

LAST TIME OUT: BOILERMAKERS BLANK BADGERS
Purdue earned its first shutout of the season with a 2-0 victory at Wisconsin in Loves Park, Illinois, on March 8. Kevdzija scored both goals for the Boilermakers, who handed the Badgers, the defending Big Ten champions, their first shutout of the year.

Purdue out-shot Wisconsin 5-4 and had a 3-2 advantage in shots on goal. UW had four corner kicks to the Boilermakers' three. The reigning Big Ten Freshman of the Week, Kevdzija led the team with three shots, two on goal. Bova made two saves to earn the shutout.

The victory at Wisconsin was Purdue's second in a row against the Badgers after a nine-match losing streak over UW was snapped in last season's Big Ten Tournament quarterfinal.

KEVDZIJA EARNS PAIR OF BIG TEN HONORS
A week after she was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week on March 2, Kevdzija was named the Big Ten Offensive Player and Freshman of the Week on March 9.

A Strongsville, Ohio, native, Kevdzija scored both of Purdue's goals in a 2-0 shutout win at Wisconsin on March 8. The first came in the 8th minute on a strike from the edge of the 18-yard box, and the second was in the 28th minute on a header inside the six off a corner kick.

It is Kevdzija's second and third career Big Ten weekly honor. She is the first Boilermaker to be named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week since Maddy Williams on Oct. 24, 2017.

Kevdzija is the fourth Boilermaker freshman since at least 2008 to score three goals in her first five collegiate matches. The last Purdue freshman to have three goals through five matches played was now-senior Hannah Melchiorre in 2017.
