BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Purdue women's basketball team dropped its first road game in the Big Ten Conference on Thursday night at No. 12/13 Indiana 66-48.
Ae'Rianna Harris led the Boilermakers (11-5, 2-2) with 15 points on 6-of-14 shooting from the field. Purdue shot 38% on the night and 15.4% (2-13) from distance. Cassidy Hardin knocked down both of the visitors' triples on four attempts.
Defensively, the Boilermakers held the Hoosiers (14-2, 4-0) nearly 10 points below their overall season average and 15 below their average at home. Indiana went 41.1% from the field and 4-of-15 from behind the arc.
Turnovers were a thorn in the Boilermakers' side as the Hoosiers turned 21 giveaways into 26 points on the evening. Purdue allowed 12 offensive rebounds to be converted into nine second-chance points.

• Jenelle Grant made her first start as a Boilermaker on Thursday night.

• Purdue had one player in double figures for the first time this season.
• Karissa McLaughlin totaled six points, without hitting a 3-pointer for the 11th time in her career.
• With two assists, McLaughlin pulled within three dimes of joining the 300 club as Purdue's 16th member.
