WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue (6-3, 1-0) looks to remain unbeaten in Big Ten play when it takes to the road for the first time in league competition Sunday at Nebraska (4-6, 0-1). The contest will tip at 4 p.m. ET, on BTN with Cory Provus and Shon Morris on the call.   • Purdue owns a 16-5 record against Nebraska having won six of its last seven games against the Huskers. Purdue has scored at least 75 points in each of its last three visits to Pinnacle Bank Arena. 
  • This marks the third straight year that the Big Ten has played league games in December. The Boilermakers are now 4-1 in those games, going 2-0 (at Maryland, Northwestern) in the 2017-18 season, 1-1 (at Michigan, Maryland) during the 2018-19 season and are 1-0 this year after defeating Northwestern last Sunday. 
  • A win would give Purdue a 7-3 record through 10 games, marking Purdue's 12th 7-3 start (or better) during Matt Painter's 15 years at Purdue. The only years the Boilermakers did not start 7-3 or better were in 2005-06, 2012-13 and 2018-19. 
  • Purdue is looking for its sixth 2-0 league start during the Matt Painter era. In five previous years that Purdue started Big Ten play with a 2-0 record, the Boilermakers finished T-1st (2009-10), 2nd (2010-11), 6th (2011-12), T-3rd (2014-15) and T-2nd (2-0). It advanced to the Sweet 16 in two of those seasons (2009-10, 2017-18). 
  • Purdue has held two straight opponents under 45 points (Virginia - 40; Northwestern - 44) for the first time since Dec. 10 and 15, 1947 (Marquette - 44; Pittsburgh - 29). 
  • Over the last two first halves, opponents have scored just 33 points and shot 13 of 44 (.295) from the field and 5 of 23 (.217) from 3-point range.
  • Purdue has won 17 straight games when holding foes to 59 or fewer points. Its last loss came on Feb. 15, 2018, at Wisconsin (57-53).
  • Purdue has had five different players lead the team in scoring this year, coming in just nine games. Last year's team had four different players lead the team in scoring in 36 games.
  • Purdue has won 16 straight games when attempting more free throws than its opponent.
  • Purdue owns the second-best road record in the Big Ten (27-19) and the best overall league record (70-23) since the 2014-15 season. 
  • Purdue has won 99 straight games when scoring 90 or more points in a game. Its last loss came on Nov. 24, 1987, vs. Iowa State (104-96).
  • Jahaad Proctor has scored in double-figures in 25 straight games. 
  • With Sasha Stefanovic scoring 20 points vs. Virginia, just three active Purdue players have ever scored 20 points in a game (Stefanovic, Matt Haarms, Jahaad Proctor).
