THE COURSE: University Ridge Golf Course
University Ridge Golf Course has been good to the Boilermakers, as its par-72, 6,313-yard layout has played home to a pair of Big Ten Championships, and a Big Ten individual medalist. In 2000, Stacy Orschell and Kari Damron led the Boilermakers to the first conference championship in program history. Purdue dominated the field with a 27-stroke victory, shooting 15-over par, 287-289-298-293=1,167, backed by Orschell and Damron tying for second place at one-over par, 289.

The 2010 Big Ten Championship was another dominant performance, topping the second-place squad by 27 strokes again at six-over par, 289-282-294-293=1,158. The second-round score is tied for the eighth-best team round in program history and the best-ever at the conference championships, and Purdue locked up its third straight Big Ten title behind medalist honors from Laura Gonzalez Escallon. She played all four championship rounds under par, including a final-round 69 to boast the top 72-hole score all-time at Purdue.

AT THIS EVENT
Monday marks the 23rd consecutive NCAA Regional appearance for the Old Gold and Black, dating to 1997. Purdue has locked up an NCAA Championship appearance 18 times, winning the regional title in 2006, and posting a top-three finish on seven occasions. The Boilermakers outplayed a No. 7 seed in Columbus, Ohio last season, finishing fifth behind a third-place performance from Marta Martin, who shot one-over par, 217, including a final-round 71.
