Purdue enters the two-dual weekend chasing its first win on the Big Ten Conference slate. In their last outing, bonus points at three weights were the difference as they split weights with No. 19 Nebraska in a 20-15 loss in Lincoln on Jan. 12. The Boilermakers posted decisions at 125, 133, 141, 174 and 285.
Penn State is returning to Rec Hall for the first time in over a month. It was a double-dual trip to Michigan for the Nittany Lions last weekend. They defeated the eighth-ranked Wolverines 25-12 on Friday and then rolled past Michigan State 48-3 in East Lansing.
In its only dual of the weekend, Illinois won three weights by decision and another by injury default in a 17-14 loss at then-No. 14 Minnesota on Sunday. Sunday's road trip to West Lafayette is the only competition of the weekend for the Illini.
