WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue women's golf team heads into its final tournament of the fall Friday, set for the 16th-annual Landfall Tradition, hosted by UNC Wilmington at the Country Club of Landfall. The Boilermakers have gone 18-8-1 in head-to-head stroke play so far this season, earning the No. 20 national ranking in the country from both GolfWeek and GolfStat.
THE FIELD
The 2017 Landfall Tradition boasts one of its toughest fields in its 15-year history, featuring five of the top-10 teams in the nation, 10 of the top-25 and 14 of the 17 teams ranked in the national top-50. The Boilermakers have already matched up against five teams in this weekend's field, which also includes three Big Ten Conference opponents in Michigan, Michigan State and Penn State. Six of the 17 teams have won a Landfall championship, including 2016 champion South Carolina and two-time champion Duke.

THE COURSE: The Country Club of Landfall
A par-72, 6,166-yard venue, the Pete Dye Course at the Country Club of Landfall has played host to all 16 Landfall Tradition events. The course has hosted the NCAA Championships on two occasions as well, first hosting the national championship in 1995, and playing host to the Boilermakers' 2010 NCAA title.
AT THIS EVENT
This weekend will be the Boilermakers' 11th all-time showing at the Landfall Tradition, playing in the inaugural event in 2002, and capturing titles in 2005 and 2011. Purdue shares the Landfall Tradition record for the lowest opening round, shooting a one-under, 287, in 2007, while LPGA players Christel Boeljon and Paula Reto earned individual titles in 2005 and 2011, respectively.

- Purdue head coach Devon Brouse is in his 20th season at his alma mater, returning in 1998 and taking the Boilermakers to the postseason in 17 of the last 18 years
- Junior Ida Ayu Indira Melati Putri had the best outing of her Boilermaker career in the season-opener, shooting six-under 210 and tying for seventh place individually
- Putri shot under par in all three rounds, including an opening-round, four-under 68, where she sank six birdies
- Putri has finished in the top-15 of the individual standings in each of her first two tournaments of the season, tying for 12th to lead the team at the Windy City Collegiate Classic
- Putri leads the team with 25 birdies on the season, while sophomore Micaela Farah has a team-best 77 pars

- Wanamarta's final-round, five-under 67 is tied for the 12th-lowest round all-time by a Boilermaker and tied for the third-lowest by a Purdue freshman
- Wanamarta was honored as the Big Ten Player of the Week on Sept. 13
- Wanamarta has logged a team score in all six rounds to start her career
- The Boilermakers were under par as a team in all three rounds at Minnesota en route to the third-lowest 54-hole team score in program history: 283-285-286=854 (-10)
- Farah and senior Marta Martin were all named to the Big Ten Conference Players to Watch list, published Aug. 30
- Martin surpassed the 100 career rounds mark of her collegiate career last time out, hitting the mark at the Windy City Collegiate Classic
