INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Purdue men's and women's track and field teams pushed their school-record NCAA Regional qualifier total to 33 at the Stan Lyons Invitational, hosted by Butler University on Saturday.

Sophomore Brianna Neumann became the third member of the Boilermakers' women's team to hit the regional standard in the pole vault. Her vault of 3.85 meters (12-07.50) was good for first place as she joined junior Mallory Peck and freshman Tara Turnbull as regional pole vault qualifiers.

Other top performers for the Boilermakers were juniors Ranay Harvey and Stephen Bach, and sophomore Adetayo Adesanya. Harvey took home the women's 100-meter dash crown with a time of 13.71, Bach topped the men's 800-meter run in 1:54.73 and Adesanya won the men's high jump as well with a height of 2.05 meters (6-08.75).

Harvey placed third in the 400-meter hurdles as well, crossing the line just behind freshman teammate NaTasha Blair who finished second in 1:03.11. Freshman Lena Raffin and sophomore Nan Hammel captured respective third-place showings in the 400- and 800-meter runs as Raffin posted a time of 58.98 and Hammel notched a mark of 2:13.14. Sophomore Steve Carlson grabbed second in the men's javelin, hurling it 57.59 meters (188-11).

The Boilermakers head to Columbus, Ohio next weekend, set to compete at the Jesse Owens Classic.
